The Next Generation Souran Platform for Network Management System – Designed for Better Performance and Feature-Rich Functionality

Melbourne, June 22 2010 – Symstream's R&D team proudly announce that the next generation of its Souran Network Management System software, which runs on the recently released CelXchange platform, has achieved the design release milestone.

The Souran platform is the next generation of network management software that allows end-to-end supervision of the Symstream wireless communications solution. This release gives the customer complete visibility and control of their entire fleet, bringing a new level of flexibility and ease of use, while maintaining Symstream’s commitment to reliability and exceptional product quality.

The Souran Network Management System enables remote configuration for quicker and easier roll-out of new wireless terminals. It also gives the operator the security of always knowing the state of their communications network, with real time system health monitoring to allow proactive troubleshooting and problem rectification. Other features of the new release include: an extensive reporting subsystem with daily and monthly summaries and Call Data Records; an over-the-air software upgrade facility to ensure the customers’ remote terminals are up to date; statistics and alarm notification for instant performance monitoring; and extensive remote terminal diagnostics so that the cause of any performance issues can quickly be identified. All this functionality (and more) is available via a web-based GUI on a secure link, with an easy to use Menu and Tab style layout and context-based help text to assist operators.
